National Partnerships Implementation Working Group
Terms of reference
1.1
The Working Group is established to support the effective implementation of the three education National Partnership Agreements.
1.2
It will make recommendations to AEEYSOC on a nationally coordinated approach to the evaluation of the schooling NPs including:
a.
an information plan to support the evaluation activities
b.
data requirements and protocols in respect of the evaluation of the Implementation Plans
c.
arrangements for collection of baseline data for all schools participating in the NPs so that the impact of the NPs can be assessed.
1.3
It will also make recommendations to AEEYSOC on other implementation arrangements, including:
a.
targets, performance indicators and measures that trigger rewards for Literacy and Numeracy (using NAPLAN)
b.
an agreed framework for milestones and associated payments in Final Implementation Plans
c.
appropriate reporting arrangements including timeframes, content requirements and development of templates
d.
a nationally coordinated approach to communications and stakeholder management.
1.4
This work will draw on the work of the School Reporting Working Group and the Performance Measurement and Reporting Taskforce.
Timeframe and reporting arrangements
Membership
All jurisdictions and the Catholic and Independent sectors are represented. The Working Group is Chaired by the Commonwealth.
The Working Group shall have cross membership with the Performance Measurement and Reporting Taskforce and the School Reporting Working Group.
A secretariat will be overseen by DEEWR
