Western Australia

Students at Educational Risk (SAER) Strategy, Making the Difference

This Strategy encompasses:

  • schools having responsibility for identifying, and being accountable for, students at educational risk
  • a Health and Well-Being Plan that provides guidelines and resources for the promotion of mental health and well-being
  • a Behaviour Management and Discipline Strategy that allocates funds and resources to provide intensive professional development in behaviour management and school support.

Target group: K -Year 12

School Leaver Program

The School Leaver Program aims to identify and assist school leavers who are unable to secure employment, education and/or training placements once they have left school

Safety Net Making it Happen

Safety Net is an early intervention strategy targeting students who display early signs of at risk behaviour (ie truancy or other behaviour resulting in suspension).
