New Apprenticeships - 300 school-based traineeships

Apprenticeship and Traineeship Support Network

The network provides support to employers, apprentices and trainees. The support services include advice on the rights and obligations of apprentices and trainees, the available training options and general administration.

GetAccess

GetAccess is an interactive website for Western Australians seeking career, employment and training related information and services.

Career Plus Caravan

Career caravan is a mobile service with a resource supervisor/career counsellor providing career counselling and information services.

Training Information Centre

The centre offers advice and printed material on career planning and employment services. The Job Search Guide program also provides career guidance in January each year from the centre.

The New Apprenticeships Access Program (NAAP)

The NAAP program provides job seekers who experience barriers to skilled employment, with pre-vocational training, assistance to obtain and maintain a New Apprenticeship and other forms of assistance.

Group Training Scheme

Group Training Schemes provide a system whereby apprentices and trainees are indentured/registered to a central body and placed with host employers on a rotational basis to provide workplace-training experience.
